A compact rec-lite Sea-Doo that turns quickly and feels playful, with a slim seat and iBR for braking and reverse.
The Sea-Doo Spark is the rec-lite member of the family: compact, light and quick to respond. It suits a playful, low-key ride, a half-hour first try or a solo rider who would rather have a nimble machine than a heavy touring one.
The slim seat sits low, a grab handle at the back gives a passenger something to hold, and footwells on each side keep feet planted through the turns. The Rotax 1000 ACE engine is sized for light, lively riding rather than raw muscle. iBR adds a brake and a reverse gear, so slowing down and backing away from a dock gets much easier for someone new.
A 30-minute session matches the playful character of the Spark, and an hour leaves room to practice turns and stops without rushing. Guided rides take one or two hours, with the guide choosing where to go. The Spark is $90 for 30 minutes and $150 for an hour on your own, or $160 and $300 for one and two guided hours.
It is a rec-lite machine: lighter and more compact, with a smaller Rotax 1000 ACE engine. That makes it quick to turn and easy to manage, while touring models trade some agility for room and comfort.
Yes. The passenger sits behind the driver and holds the grab handle at the back of the seat. On a compact hull the two of you sit close, so it suits pairs who do not mind a snug ride.
