Age
The renter must be 18 or older. Florida sets 14 as the minimum age to drive a jet ski, but whether a rider aged 14 to 17 can go depends on the operator. For riders 14 to 17, ask us; it depends on the operator.
Boater safety ID
If the person driving was born on or after January 1, 1988, bring a valid photo ID and your Florida boater safety card from the FWC. A temporary certificate, valid for 90 days, also works. Safety equipment
Riders wear U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jackets, and they are included in the price. The driver also uses the engine cut-off lanyard, which stops the engine if the driver falls off.
Daylight only
Florida bans riding from 30 minutes after sunset to 30 minutes before sunrise.
