Yacht Charter Advisor - Voyage Planner

The YCA Voyage Planner is in development and coming very soon.

The YCA Voyage Planner is an online Charter Planning Tool developed By Charter Sailors, For Charter Sailors. The concept is simple, construct a viable charter planning application and have the Charter Community build upon each step. Over time and with input from the Charter Community the YCA Voyage Planner will become the standard in International Charter Planning.

The YCA staff will host a forum to create discussion and receive input on the YCA Voyage Planner.

Voyage Planning is something that Charter Providers (Broker, Companies, Captains, etc) take pride in and consider their personal service and special touch in planning what sets their services apart from others. The YCA Voyage Planner adds to this experience and 'ensures' that most situations, planned and unplanned, are considered and documented prior to your charter.

The YCA Voyage Planner is an online service where folks who are new to Charter Sailing can privately review the planning steps before contacting a Charter Broker or Charter Company. If so inclined, you may follow the Voyage Planning guide, save or print a copy of your plan to discuss with and motivate your Charter Party.

Seasoned Charter Sailors will also find the Voyage Planner very useful as a solid charter planning guide that helps cover all the bases every time. Do you have a separate list of sundries for the kids, men and ladies? Have you discussed vacation insurance with your Charter Party? Have you researched emergency services response times, hospital capabilities, local customs, currency, politics, weather, regional customs and holidays? Have you canvassed your Charter Party to learn what their fears and desires are? Maybe this is why some Charter Sailors prefer to stay local and not explore new sailing grounds...?

The YCA Voyage Planner is interactive with the YCA Charter Provider Performance Reports and tracks your selections of charter cost range, venue, party, location, yacht, marina, captain and more. Beyond the basics, we cover health concerns (allergies, ailments, etc) , fears (sharks, pirates, spiders, flying, etc) and other factors that may help a Charter Planner get out more often, with more people and into new destinations.

When completed you will have a saved (pdf) or printed copy of your Voyage Plan in hand and ready to contact the Charter Provider of your choice and make it happen!
